Hello and welcome to Buried Treasure Podcast ! This podcast presents to you never before released live recordings from Australia’s rock ‘n’ roll underground from the 1980s and early 1990’s.

For 15 years from the mid 80’s to the end of the 20th Century, my life was spent in Sydney’s pubs following the live music scene. I attended hundreds of gigs armed with my trusty Realistic hand held tape recorder and recorded hundreds of bands. As such, these recordings now represent historical audio documents that represent a time, a place, and a period that no longer exists.

I’m talking about bands such as the Screaming Tribesmen, The Hitmen, The Lime Spiders, X, the Dubrovniks, Rose Tattoo, and a whole stack more in between. These are all my own personal recordings and none of these have ever seen the light of day in any shape or form, until now ! If you are fan of Australian underground rock from the 80’s, sit back and enjoy this podcast.
